Weston-SUPER-Fun

On Friday Imogen travelled with a group of young people and their Activate HAF club leaders from Bath Spa to Weston-super-Mare for the day. Imogen met the group at Bath Spa Station and quizzed the young people on their rail safety knowledge on the platform (‘how fast can trains travel in the UK?’), before they boarded the train to Bristol Temple Meads. At Bristol the young people had the experience of using the information boards to locate the platform they needed for their next train, and to work out which train was theirs. All safely aboard, the young people headed on to Weston-super-Mare for an afternoon at the beach.

Top priority for the young people was a donkey ride, closely followed by fish and chips and some time on the pier.

We made it to the station for our return journey JUST in time!
