Trains Through Time

Overview

This 1 hour lesson, designed for KS2, encourages children to explore the significant impact, both positive and negative, that the railway brought when first introduced to the community. Their change and development over time can be explored both through the development of the student’s chronological understanding, as well as through their oracy skills. Printable resources help to facilitate the lesson, enabling children to receive the support needed to further deepen and develop their understanding.
