Overview
Trains have a locomotive at both ends – they can go forwards, they can go backwards and – most excitingly – they can be split.
In this lesson, students use this real-life example to practice their knowledge of number bonds, exploring different options for solving problems, and using their understanding to prove how they know solutions to be true.
