EYFS
Students will learn:
- Embedded into our rail safety workshops, we will introduce your students to some of the jobs people do in the rail industry – specifically at the station and on the train.
- We will cover some of the ways in which these people help to keep us safe, provide us with information and make our rail experience a positive one.
- The workshop will be interactive. To bring the learning to life, students will dress up and role play scenarios, such as being the train guard and checking passengers’ tickets.
- The messages, visuals and language used promote inclusion, challenge stereotypes, and broaden aspirations.

The pupils had to choose other children they thought had the qualities needed to be successful at the jobs, such as focusing or being courteous. Really interactive and friendly team, the children were engaged throughout and had opportunities to get involved. They enjoyed receiving stickers for great behaviour.” – Miss J Withers, Wilden All Saints, Worcestershire
