Overview
Are you wild for Winter and agitated by Autumn? Or stirred-up for Summer but sulky about Spring? We all have an opinion on the seasons, making them the perfect topic for a transactional writing task.
In this lesson, students are carefully taken through what it means to persuade and some of the strategies we can use to make persuasive writing effective.
With plenty of exposure to tier-2 vocabulary, lots of inspirational images, and a number of opportunities to practice techniques, this lesson should end with all students completing a persuasive essay (and hopefully having fun along the way!
