Overview

As part of the celebrations of Railway 200, recognising and celebrating 200 years since the first journey of the modern railway, we have developed resources looking at how vital the railway has been in transforming and affecting areas within our local geography, shaping the past, present and future.
In this five lesson unit, we will dive into how Swindon, it’s Tourism and Trade were transformed and shaped by the influence of Brunel and his development of ‘God’s Wonderful Railway’.
