We are qualified, experienced teachers with a current, working knowledge of classroom requirements, putting us in a perfect position to form a bridge between schools, curriculums, and the rail industry.

Emilie Dawson
Learning Development Manager
Emilie graduated with a first-class honours’ degree in Creative Writing with Psychology before deciding to pursue a career in education.
Emilie worked in education for 13 years, qualifying as a secondary English teacher before becoming a SENCo and gaining the National Award for SEN Coordination. She works as an English Team Leader for one of the main exam boards, and as a consultant for a popular educational publisher.
Emilie’s passion is inclusion. It is her belief that every child should have access to a high-quality education that strives to remove barriers, rather than lowering expectations.

Imogen Sackett
Senior Learning Development Officer
Imogen graduated from university with a degree in international development, before gaining a PGCE in Secondary Geography and beginning her career as a teacher.
Imogen has over 8 years experience in teaching, and is excited to now take on a role which actively supports teachers in accessing learning opportunities outside of the classroom.
Imogen’s passion is creating exciting, creative, innovative resources that allow for a dynamic learning experience whilst delivering the core objectives that students need to be successful in external examinations and next steps.

Florence Pennant
Learning Development Officer
Florence graduated from Leeds University with a first-class honours’ degree in History. She spent time working in administration, and volunteering with families and young people, before pursuing a teaching career.
Florence taught in a range of schools throughout East and South- East London for seven years, and completed a Post Graduate Certificate in Humanistic and Psychodynamic counselling; she has always had a keen interest in the social and emotional wellbeing of her students.
Florence’s passionate is teaching young people how to travel. She thinks it is essential in building the confidence of young people and expanding their horizons as many life opportunities will face travel at the first step.

Soo Jackson
Learning Development Officer
Soo graduated from Oxford with a degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics, and spent several years working as a writer and in PR. She then spent many years working as a Recycling Officer, promoting an environmentally responsible way of life.
Soo gained a PGCE in Primary Education at UWE before working in several primary schools across Bristol, teaching every year from Reception to Year six. Soo completed an MSc in Education – focusing on Teaching and Learning – and graduated with a Distinction.
Soo’s passion is understanding how children learn and the barriers which may prevent them from learning.

Ellie Swain
Learning Development Officer
Ellie graduated from university with a degree in Drama and Theatre Studies and went on to receive a Post-Graduate Diploma in Acting from The Oxford School of Drama. In 2006, she trained to be a teacher, gaining a PGCE in Primary Education with a specialism in French.
Ellie began her teaching career in London before returning to the West Country where she grew up. Over the course of her 16-year career, she worked as a classroom teacher and English Leader, alongside which she facilitated a wide range of extra-curricular opportunities, from clubs to whole school events.
Ellie’s passion is to develop lifelong learners with a strong sense of self who possess the knowledge, skills and personal qualities to make a positive contribution to society. In order to achieve this, she prides herself on making any learning opportunity as fun, accessible and rewarding as possible.
